Dish Network Adds Internet Service, for Rural Areas

Dish Network Corp. plans to launch a nationwide broadband service next Monday under the brand dishNET, hoping to add a new revenue stream on top of its pay-television business.
The satellite-TV company on Thursday is expected to disclose plans to sell broadband, at a speed of between five and 10 megabits per second, for between $39.99 and $69.99 a month for customers who also take Dish’s TV service. Those who aren’t TV customers will pay $10 more a month, a similar pricing approach to that used by cable operators.

pay using INR price on its flights from India internet service Lufthansa sets

Lufthansa’s internet offering on their flights from India. Lufthansa has now set an Indian Rupee price as well, in case someone wanted to pay using their INR CC on board.
Like I mentioned in the last post, Lufthansa was charging 10.95 Euro/hour on this service, or 3,500 Miles & More miles. This is consistent with the Rs. 737 pricing set out in Indian Rupees.
Lufthansa clearly is on a roll in India with the 747-8’s flying around from Delhi and Bangalore and the new lounges they are creating for their Indian travellers.
