Major cellular operators, heavily slashed the 3G tariffs, have started reaping dividends, at least in the way of increased data usage, suggest latest estimates.
Cellular operators have slashed 3G tarrifs by 70-80 per cent in a bid to attract more smartphone users. The move has resulted in 72-75 per cent increase in data consumption, according to Tarun Pathak, analyst with Cyber Media Research (CMR).
