BSNL Install New Mobile 2G and 3G Towers 8,700

Indian telecom operator BSNL is investing Rs 4,000 crore in this fiscal to expand of its mobile network, which include installing 8,700 towers, company is planning to invest Rs 4000 crore on 2G and 3G mobile

BSNL landlines will soon have Video chat facility broadband calls telecom Internet

BSNL land phone connection will provide video calls, chats/conferencing facility, a feature which will be facilitated after C-DoT upgrades BSNL’s existing telecom infrastructure to the Next Generation Network (NGN) — a process which has started & expected to complete within a year and a half.

C-DoT has also developed a broadband wireless terminal which can provide broadband speeds faster than 3G networks with very low capital and operational expenditure.

Activate BSNL Do Not Disturb Services or SMS NCPR DND deactivate instructions unwanted Calls

Upon registration with NCPR (old DND registry) you will not receive any unwanted promotional Calls / SMS / Messages and you will get confirmation within 24 hours with Unique Registration Number. And the DND services (now called as NCPR) activation will  happen within 7 days.

If  you wish you completely block all kind of SMS and do not want to receive any kind of promotional / unwanted commercial messages on your BSNL mobile, Send SMS “START 0” to 1909 (1909 is a toll-free number and no charges will be attracted).

Option 2: Partially Blocked Category. SMS START < category number> to 1909


Dial “1909” from your mobile and follow the instructions to activate DND on your BSNL mobile or Land line.
