Samsung partners with Airtel to expanded Samsung dual Hero supports technology

Samsung Electronics Company Limited has expanded its range of low-end mobile phones with the introduction of the Samsung Chief Hero, designed for Africans.
The Samsung Chief Hero supports GPRS dual band technology and comes with a 1000mAh battery to enable users enjoy 11-hour talk time and 550 hours of standby time and with the Dual-SIM 'Always On' functionality, one will never miss a call.
It comes with an Airtel Sim Card that would give costumers 8 cedis worth of Airtime (96 minutes of free airtime) and 100MB of data as long as one recharge with as little as 5 cedis every month for 6 months.
By allowing these users to automatically switch between two SIM cards without having to carry an additional handset or turn off the phone to swap SIM cards, Samsung is helping to meet a critical need in the market with Smart Dual SIM technology which allows both SIM cards to be active and 'always on'.
