NEC Medias Tab UL 7 inch Android tablet S4 dual core processor,

first glance the NEC Medias Tab UL looks like your typical 7 inch Android tablet. It has a 1280 x 800 pixel display, a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor, and Android 4.0 operating system.
But NEC’s tablet for the Japanese market is one of the lightest 7 inch tablets around. It weighs just 250 grams or about 9 ounces.
By comparison, the Google Nexus 7 weighs 12 ounces, and the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 inch tablet weighs 14.5 ounces.
The NEC Medias Tab UL measures 0.3 inches thick and features a 3100mAh battery. It’s sold by wireless carrier DoCoMo in Japan, and it supports both WiFi and mobile broadband.
Like many other Japanese tablets, the Medias Tab UL also has an antenna for picking up over-the-air digital TV broadcasts.
The folks at Engadget got a chance to check out the tablet at the CEATEC show in Japan this week, and they’ve posted a hands-on video.
